GLASS™ Stripes transparent stair tread cover
It is made from a transparent, non-slip material in accordance with DIN 51130. It provides protection against scratches for stairs, parquet flooring and laminate flooring without covering them. It is also suitable for tiles with a smooth surface. The superior quality of the material is further confirmed by its B1 fire-retardant rating in accordance with DIN 4102.
The flexible GLASS™ material conforms to surfaces and edges, whilst the self-adhesive backing makes installation easy.
It provides excellent protection for wooden stair treads and landings against scratches and wear.
Self-adhesive covers (mats) are ideal for use during construction or renovation to protect attractive stairs or tiles. When applied to flat surfaces, they provide immediate protection without the need for major building work.
Widely used and recommended by manufacturers of wooden stairs.

Properties of GLASS™ Stripes
Our product holds the following certifications:
- R11 anti-slip certification in accordance with DIN 51130
- B1 fire-resistance certificate in accordance with DIN 4102

Installation instructions:
- Measure the shower tray - the width of the tiles
- Order the correct size and quantity of GLASS™ Stripes
- Dispose of the entire packaging in the waste paper bin
- Clean the surface to which the GLASS™ Stripe is to be applied using a dry cloth, then degrease it using a cotton cloth soaked in extraction solvent or isopropanol; the surface must be perfectly dry and clean, with no grout lines or tile joints - suitable only for flat shower trays and tiles (must not be applied to grout lines)
- Apply the GLASS™ Stripes to the shower tray surface to be protected, as shown in the photo, from left to right (or vice versa). Use your hand, a soft cloth or a rubber squeegee to smooth out the edges as carefully as possible, as water may seep in through these areas
- Enjoy the benefits of the GLASS™ Stripes protective film and the safety it provides in the shower or on the tiles in front of the shower enclosure
The protective film can be applied no earlier than 5 weeks after the surface has been varnished.
Environmental care and sustainability:
The packaging for the GLASS™ Stripes mat is always made from 100% cardboard and paper, both of which are recyclable together. Buyers need not worry about separating the film, stretch wrap or adhesive tape from the packaging, as all components of our packaging can be disposed of together in the blue paper recycling bin!
For us, the environment is more important than the cost of packaging, and the product itself is made from just one material, which is 100% recyclable and has the lowest possible carbon footprint
