Installation instructions:

1. Measure the depth of the step
2. Order the correct size and quantity of GLASS™ covers
3. Dispose of the entire packaging in the paper recycling bin
4. Clean the surface to which the GLASS™ is to be applied using a dry cloth, then degrease it using a cotton cloth soaked in isopropanol
5. Stick the GLASS™ onto the surface to be protected as shown in the photo, from left to right (or vice versa); finally, fold the edge down onto the riser (if required). Smooth it out by hand, with a soft cloth or a rubber squeegee
6. Enjoy the benefits of the GLASS™ film

The protective film can be applied no earlier than 5 weeks after the surface has been varnished.

The packaging for GLASS™ lids is always made from 100% cardboard and paper. These materials are fully recyclable. Buyers do not need to worry about separating plastic film, stretch film or plastic tape from the packaging, as all components of our packaging can be disposed of together in the blue waste paper bin! The packing tape is also made of paper and is FSC-certified, which demonstrates a conscious and responsible use of resources. We hold the DerGrunePunkt certification.

For us, the environment is more important than the price of the packaging. Our product is made from just one material, which is 100% recyclable and has the lowest CO₂ carbon footprint - unlike carpet tiles (which consist of many different materials combined!) and so on.

We dispatch GLASS pads in special heavyweight cardboard boxes or in paper tubes with thick walls (approx. 4 mm); all packaging is new and does not come from the recycling of chemical containers, etc.

If you choose our Mathey System courier, they will also cover the carbon neutrality fee!
