SandGLASS™ transparent anti-slip stair mats

The most slip-resistant tread made of flexible material with a high slip resistance rating of R12 in accordance with DIN51130! The material also has a flammability rating of Bs1 in accordance with DIN13501-1.

A universal overlay (mat) made of transparent, UV-resistant anti-slip material. It protects and secures stairs made of tiles, wood, marble, and stone. It is also suitable for tiles with a smooth surface. Highest quality EU-manufactured material.

The perfect solution for stairs and marble surfaces - after application, it provides immediate anti-slip protection without any mechanical work (interference with the surface of the stairs) while preserving the beauty of natural stone or wood.

When applied to flat surfaces, it provides immediate protection without major construction work.

The flexible material of the SandGLASS™ overlay adapts perfectly to surfaces and edges, and the self-adhesive backing facilitates installation even on uneven surfaces.

Due to the friction material embedded in the surface, the surface cannot be cleaned with a mop, cloth, or microfiber (like GLASS mats).

SandGLASS overlays are rectangular with sharp corners (unlike GLASS and GLASS Lite interior overlays).

Installation instructions:

1.    Measure the depth/length of the step

2.    Order the appropriate dimensions and quantity of SandGLASS™ covers

3.    Dispose of the entire packaging in a waste paper bin

4.    Clean the surface to which SandGLASS™ will be glued with a dry cloth, then degrease it with a cotton cloth soaked in, for example, isopropanol, e.g., 3M wipes available in our GLASS Accessories

5.           Stick SandGLASS™ onto the surface to be protected as shown in the photo, from left to right (or vice versa), and finally fold the nose onto the baseboard (downwards) if required. Align gently with your hand or, more safely, with a rubber mallet or roller!

6. Enjoy the benefits of the SandGLASS™ overlay.

7.           Maintenance: clean with a broom or soft brush; not suitable for cleaning with cloths or mops. Mild detergents can be used, although the surface itself is resistant to many chemicals, oils, etc.

Buyers do not have to worry about separating plastic film, stretch wrap, or plastic tape from the packaging, because all elements of our packaging can be thrown together into the blue waste paper bin! The packaging tape is also made of paper and is FSC-certified, which proves our conscious and responsible use of resources. We have the DerGrunePunkt label.

For us, the environment is more important than the price of packaging. Our product is made from only one material, which is 100% recyclable and has the smallest CO2 carbon footprint—unlike carpet tiles (many materials combined together!), etc.

SandGLASS covers are shipped in a special heavyweight cardboard box or in a paper tube with a wall thickness of approx. 4 mm. All packaging is new and does not come from recycled chemicals, etc.

By choosing our courier, Mathey System will also cover the cost of carbon neutrality.
