PetWALL transparent wall protection mat, 40x60cm

The PetWALL™ wall protection mat is part of our extensive range of mats for pets.

With PetWALL™, we have focused on protecting walls near pet beds, cages or litter trays. Our mat is 0.25 mm thick, transparent and self-adhesive across its entire surface!

Thanks to its unique surface, it is very easy to remove any dirt and loose particles from the mat, such as bits of wet litter or liquid residue.

The mat's transparency means it matches all wall colours and pet accessories. As we do not introduce any foreign elements - such as different colours - our transparent mat does not disrupt your pets' routines!

Quick installation - the mat is ready for use immediately after application.

Installation instructions and notes:

1. Measure the width and length of the wall in the area where the litter trays or beds are located, which you intend to protect
2. Order the original PetWALL™ product from Mathey System in the correct dimensions
3. Dispose of the entire packaging in the waste paper bin (100% paper & cardboard)
4. Clean the surface onto which PetWALL™ is to be installed using a dry cloth, removing any unevenness or fine dust (the wall should also be primed before painting)
5. Fit the PetWALL™ onto the surface to be protected as shown in the photo, from left to right (or vice versa). Ideally, position it above the skirting board at an even distance from the floor. Smooth it out by hand, with a soft cloth or a rubber squeegee. One of our pressure rollers, available as an optional accessory, is also useful.Thanks to its flexible properties, the mat can also be folded into internal corners (where litter trays are often placed)
6. The bumper can be cut with a standard wallpaper knife; however, its surface is quite hard, so we recommend taking care.

! The result depends largely on the quality of the wall finish, the care taken during preparation (smoothing the surface, priming beforehand, surface cleanliness) and the application of the adhesive itself. Any air pockets that may appear depend on the unevenness of the wall and the type of paint used on it. In most cases, the bumper can be easily removed without leaving any traces of the adhesive layer. More commonly, there may be reduced adhesion or the adhesive layer of the bumper may cause individual paint flakes to come away (due to inconsistencies in the wall surface itself). We recommend carrying out a test application on a small, inconspicuous area of the wall. It takes at least 24 hours for the adhesive's bonding particles to migrate into the wall surface; we recommend waiting a few days before subjecting the impact protector to full load.
