Weather-resistant flexible bollard
Wall OUT™ is particularly recommended for use in facilities such as private and underground car parks, exits from car parks and underground garages, car parking spaces, walkways and narrow passages between building walls, and functional areas such as garages or industrial workshops exposed to varying temperatures and weather conditions such as sunlight, UV radiation and precipitation!
Selected properties and benefits of Wall OUT™:
- thickness, including the adhesive layer, approx. 2.5 mm
- excellent resistance to weather conditions such as sunlight, UV radiation and precipitation!
- application temperature: -20 - +50°C
- quick and clean installation - self-adhesive; no need to pay extra for adhesives or adhesive tapes
- fire resistance to BS1 standard
- reduces noise caused by objects striking the wall or kerb
- High-quality, colourless adhesive layer with an additional mesh
- the flexibility of the bumper allows for smooth application, even around wall corners and columns
Installation instructions and notes:
- Measure the height of the area on the wall that you intend to protect
- Order a bumper of the correct dimensions
- After unpacking, unroll it flat and leave it at a temperature of at least 20°C for 24 hours (particularly in winter, when temperatures are low)
- Clean the surface onto which the protective strip is to be fitted using a dry cloth and prime the wall (the wall should also be primed before painting). The surface to be protected must be absolutely dry at the time of fitting, and the temperature during fitting should be at least 10°C
- Stick the bumper strip down from left to right, or vice versa. Do not peel off the entire plastic backing straight away - only uncover the section you are sticking down at that moment
- Press down firmly with your hand or a rubber roller
Due to the wide variety of external surfaces, a test application should be carried out on each surface before installation. Technical tests have confirmed the effectiveness of installation on surfaces and materials such as: vibrated concrete, high-strength concrete, smooth-surfaced concrete without cracks or irregularities such as protruding pieces of stone, ceramic walls such as ceramic hollow blocks and solid bricks, glass panes, black and stainless steel, powder-coated sheet metal, and many others. Installation on surfaces such as textured plaster (e.g. sand-textured or lamb's-wool finish) is not recommended.
The bumper achieves full adhesion to the surface approximately 24 hours after application.
The result depends largely on the quality of the wall finish, surface unevenness, the care taken during preparation (prior priming) and the bonding process itself. It is recommended that the impact barrier be installed by two people from a qualified service team.
The strong adhesive used by Mathey System bonds the bumper very securely to the wall material. During removal, fragments of paint, plaster or plasterboard may be dislodged.
Apply the skirting board 14 days after the surface has been painted.

Environmental initiatives
From the very beginning, Mathey System has been pioneering a new market approach to online sales and caring for the Earth and the environment:
Mathey System product packaging is always made from 100% cardboard and paper. These materials can be recycled together. Buyers do not need to worry about separating plastic film, stretch film or plastic tape from the packaging, as all elements of our packaging can be disposed of together in the blue recycling bin for paper! The packing tape is also made of paper and is FSC-certified, which attests to the conscious and responsible use of resources. We hold the DerGrunePunkt certification. The product itself is wound onto a tube and secured with PE caps.
For us, the environment is more important than the cost of packaging. Our product is made from just one material, which is 100% recyclable and has the lowest CO₂ carbon footprint.
We dispatch Mathey System products in a special heavyweight cardboard box and/or a paper tube with thick walls (approx. 3 mm).
If you choose our courier, Mathey System will also cover the carbon neutrality fee for your order!
Let's be mindful - let's look after the environment together. Packaging in harmony with nature!
