WallG™ self-adhesive polyurethane wall bumper 

It combines the advantages of both flexible and rigid bumpers, whilst outperforming them in terms of performance.

Made from thick material, it provides excellent protection for walls not only against scratches and splashes, but also against medium and high-impact collisions. Polyurethane is indispensable when durability and resistance to mechanical damage are key requirements for a bumper.

The multi-layered structure achieved during the manufacturing process is responsible for many key features of our product, ranging from the durability of the bonding and semi-elasticity to the impact- and abrasion-resistant absorbent layer.

Impacts are absorbed and their force is reduced by the dissipation of energy within the internal structure without causing permanent damage, unlike with old-style hard bumpers made from a single material.

It evens out minor wall irregularities and can be applied to columns, even those of small diameter. Self-adhesive and cost-effective to handle, it offers a clean and dry installation!

WallG™ is particularly recommended for use in facilities such as: hospitals, hotels, ambulance stations, A&E departments, private medical and dental practices, government offices, schools and airports.

WARNING! The super-strong adhesive used by Mathey System bonds the WallG™ bumper very firmly to the wall surface, to such an extent that fragments of paint, plaster and plasterboard may be torn off during removal.

Installation instructions

1. Order the original Mathey System product in the required size
2. Dispose of the packaging in the waste paper bin (100% paper & cardboard); dispose of the spindles in the plastics bin
3. After unpacking, leave at a temperature of at least 20°C for 24 hours (particularly in winter) and then unroll it flat. (The flexibility of the moulding is an advantage that is utilised in logistics or when permanently installing it on long curves)
4. Clean with a dry cloth and prime the surface where the guardrail is to be fitted (the wall should also be primed before painting)
5. Stick the bumper down from left to right (or vice versa). 
6. Press the guard down firmly by hand or using a suitable roller available from our range of accessories.

It is recommended that the bumper be fitted by two people from a qualified service team.

The result depends largely on the quality of the wall finish, any unevenness in the surface, the care taken during preparation (prior priming) and the bonding process itself.

Environmental initiatives

From the very beginning, Mathey System has been pioneering a new market approach to online sales and care for the Earth and the environment:

Mathey System product packaging is always made from 100% cardboard and paper. These materials can be recycled together. Buyers do not need to worry about separating plastic film, stretch film or plastic tape from the packaging, as all components of our packaging can be disposed of together in the blue paper recycling bin! The packing tape is also made from paper and is FSC-certified, which attests to the conscious and responsible use of resources. We hold the DerGrunePunkt certification. The product itself is wound onto a tube and secured with PE caps.

For us, the environment is more important than the cost of packaging. Our product is made from just one material, which is 100 per cent recyclable and has the lowest CO₂ carbon footprint. We dispatch Mathey System products in a special heavyweight cardboard box and/or a paper tube with thick walls (approx. 3 mm).

If you choose our courier, Mathey System will also cover the cost of making your order carbon neutral!
