WallGLASS™ transparent wall-mounted protective barrier

WallGLASS™ is the perfect solution for any location where walls need to be protected.

This self-adhesive wall protector shields walls from damage and scuffs caused by chairs, armchairs, table edges or doors. It protects wall corners from minor dents and scratches, whilst its water-resistant properties protect against dirt and splashes. 

The transparency of WallGLASS™ allows the attractive finish of a painted wall to be preserved, whilst the flexible material enables application at any angle and on any corner or cylindrical column. 

The odourless WallGLASS™ protective strip is suitable for both commercial and private use; it is popular amongst owners and managers of restaurants, hotels, office buildings and universities. It works exceptionally well in historic buildings, where restrictive regulations and standards regarding building components apply. Thanks to the WallGLASS™ skirting board's B1 fire resistance rating (DIN 4102), the requirements of the historic buildings conservation authority are met.

Installation instructions 

1. 1. Measure the height of the area on the wall that you intend to protect
   2. Order a bumper of the correct dimensions
   3. Clean the surface where the guardrail is to be fitted using a dry cloth and prime the wall (the wall should also be primed before painting)
   4. Remove the protective border
   5. Stick the bumper strip down from left to right, or vice versa. Do not peel off the entire paper backing straight away - only uncover the section you are sticking down at that moment.
   6. Press down firmly with your hand, a soft cloth or a bumper roller

It is recommended that the skirting board be fitted by two people from a qualified fitting service.

The result depends largely on the quality of the wall finish, any unevenness in the surface, the care taken during preparation (prior priming) and the application of the adhesive itself.
