It is perfect for stylish interiors. The natural color of wood, exposed grain patterns, and characteristic knots – every 150 cm of the guardrail is unique. The pattern of each WallWOOD™ guardrail is practically unrepeatable, and it is not possible to order the same pattern. WallWOOD™ can be combined in length and width for more complete coverage and wall protection.

The skirting board is particularly recommended for private rustic-style properties and loft-style offices and studies. The natural look of WallWOOD™ skirting boards creates the perfect atmosphere for both relaxation and business meetings.

Thanks to their natural pattern, which gives the impression of raw wood, the bumpers can be successfully used in almost any room.

Like all our bumpers, WallWOOD™ also has a self-adhesive backing for quick and clean installation.

Made of thick and flexible material, it perfectly protects walls not only from scratches and splashes, but also from small and medium-strength impacts.

NOTE! The super-strong adhesive used by Mathey System bonds the WallWood™ bumper to the wall material so permanently that fragments of paint, plaster, and drywall may be torn off during removal.

Installation instructions

1. Measure the height of the wall space you intend to secure
2. Order a corner guard of the right size
3. After unpacking, unroll it flat and leave at a temperature of at least 20 deg. C for a period of 24 hours (especially in winter, at low temperatures)
4. Clean the surface on which the corner guard is going to be mounted with a dry cloth and prime the wall (the wall should also be primed before painting)
5. Stick the corner guard from left to right or vice versa. Do not peel off all the back foil at once – only expose the piece you are sticking on at the moment.
6. Apply pressure with hand or rubber roller

The effect is largely dependent on the quality of the wall finish, the unevenness of the surface, the care of the preparation (prior priming) and the bonding itself. The corner guard is recommended to be installed by two members of a qualified staff.

The strong adhesive that Mathey System uses bonds the corner guard to the wall material very firmly. During dismantling, fragments of paint, plaster or plasterboard may be torn off. More often, there may be less adhesion or detachment of individual parts of the paint by the adhesive layer of the corner guard (related to inconsistency of the wall substrate itself).

Apply the corner guard 14 days after painting the surface.

From the very beginning, Mathey System has been creating a new approach to online sales and care for the Earth and the environment:

Mathey System product packaging is always made of 100% cardboard and paper. These materials are recyclable together. Buyers do not have to worry about separating plastic film, stretch film, or plastic tape from the packaging, because all elements of our packaging can be thrown together into the blue waste paper bin! The packaging tape is also made of paper and is FSC-certified, which proves the conscious and responsible use of resources. We have the DerGrunePunkt label. The product itself is wound on a tube and secured with PE plugs.

For us, the environment is more important than the price of packaging. Our product is made of only one material, which is 100% recyclable and has the smallest CO2 carbon footprint.

Mathey System products are shipped in a special heavyweight cardboard box and/or a paper tube with a wall thickness of approx. 3 mm.

By choosing our courier, Mathey System will also cover the carbon neutrality fee for your order!
